As those of you who were at training last week'll

As those of you who were at training last week'll have noticed, there's a bit of an issue with the floodlights along one side of the pitch. The company who look after them are currently short-staffed so Merchants are still waiting for a date to have them repaired.

As it's only getting darker sadly, we're going to finish training at 8pm this evening and will review the situation ahead of next week's session. @merchantsacademysports have flagged it as urgent, so hopefully it'll get it sorted before then, but our priority is making sure we all get home from training in one piece and not taking any unnecessary risks playing on in low light as the nights draw in.

It was great to see lots of familiar and new faces at a sunny Club Day yesterday!

We also wished a fond retirement farewell to Knowle legend, Liz Fox, who's decided to hang up her stick*. She's been at the club for over 50yrs and while she'll be missed on the pitch, we look forward to her continued cheerleading and support from the sideline! Much love xx
